Memories of Roosterville

stiltzwaffles This whole album is a love letter to fans of the Canterbury Progressive rock scene of the 60s and 70s without being derivative at all. Admittedly I typically need at least a few listens before most Music really grabs me. Not the case here. Every tune is a banger and dug its roots in me right away. No surprise The Golden Age of Mercy is my favorite track, and I can already say it's one of my favorite Strauser has ever done (even considering his earlier work with Volare).

about

This album commemorates a brief period of time in late 2021 when my family and I lived in an old farmhouse in the small west Georgia community of Roosterville. It was a beautiful setting for getting away from the world and meditating on the past and preparing for the future.
